5.8th grade dance and events - we are asking all 8th grade parents to consider helping with the organization in order to their student to have an amazing end of the school year. The committee forming meeting is 12/9/24 at 7pm at Panera on Daniels Rd.

7.Holiday grams are coming in December. That will give chance Sunridge middle students to send holiday reindeer grams to eachother and their teachers.

Why it is importaint to become a ptso member?
As a PTSO member, you can contribute in many ways to your student's education. By becoming a member you will have the opportunity to volunteer, attend our PTSO meetings and vote for PTSO board, budget and spendings. Being a member is just a simple and quick way to financially support Sunridge Middle School.

OUR year's accomplishments in review:
Organizing and sponsoring the 8th Grade Dance
Sponsored the 8th grade celebrations
Organized and sponsored our first ever School Wide Dance
Sponsored the Multicultural Event
Sponsored and hosted 3 luncheons and a beginning of year breakfast for the faculty and staff
Holiday grams were made available for parents to purchase on schoolpay and were distributed to teachers during the holiday season.
We organized and sold holiday grams in October, December and February for our students and teachers.
Purchased and distributed ice treats for all Honor roll students, in each quarter.
Sponsored the Guardian Angel Fund to help send deserving students on field trips this year.
Awarded more than $1000 dollars in Teacher Grants
Hosted spirit nights with Papa Johns, Firehouse Subs, Texas Roadhouse, Just Salad, McDonald's, Subway, Dairy Queen and Chipotle.
We supported the Library enabling them to purchase a new lazer printer.
We supported the theatre department and other faculties by sponsoring the sale of concessions.
We supported the chess tournament through the purchase of food and donated time.
We celebrated all Custodians, Bus drivers and Crossing guards with gifts of appreciation.
We hosted breakfast for all the administrative staff with gifts of appreciation.
Hosted all PJ and Hat days for our students benefiting our guardian angel fund.
Sold Spirit wear and created a tshirt design contest for the upcoming year.
